Assistant Professorship in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering anticipates faculty openings for tenure-track, assistant professor positions in the following areas: cyber-security with an emphasis on devices and networks; future internet architectures; large scale computation, data analytics, cloud and grid computing for data-enabled science and engineering; bio-electrical engineering; cyber-physical and robotic systems including visual computing; hardware/software co-design; computer architecture with a focus on emerging systems and applications.
The School of Engineering is anticipating significant growth in other important areas including health, smart grids, smart cities, intelligent transportation systems, and sustainable energy.  The ECE Department is particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to these broader application initiatives. 

Outstanding applicants in all areas and all ranks may also be considered.

A Ph.D. in EE, CE, CS or a related field is required.  Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and establishing independent research programs.   Excellent facilities are available with opportunities for research affiliation with various university centers such as the Center for Autonomic Computing (CAC), Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems (ICS), Microelectronics Research Laboratory (MERL), Wireless Information Network Laboratory (WINLAB), as well as with local industry.  Qualified candidates should submit a CV, statements on teaching and research, and names of three references to the URL:  http://faculty.engr.rutgers.edu.
