The Mobile Communications Research Group within CCSR is seeking to recruit a full-time post-doc researcher, initially for a period of 1 year. The researcher will work in a team on a EU funded project involving collaboration with partners across Europe on next generation mobile radio access networks.

For this opening, the successful applicant will be required to have experience in the general area of Mobile and Wireless Communications with a specific focus on L2/L3 of next generation small cell wireless networks.

PhD Position in Mobile and Wireless Communication at Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany

Announcement

The International Graduate School on Mobile Communications of the Ilmenau University of Technology offers an open position starting from February 1, 2013 or later

a full-time research position for doctoral student.

The research position has a duration of three years and is evaluated annually. The salary of this full-time position corresponds to 13 TV-L (approx. 35,000 – 40,000 EUR per year).

The focus of the Graduate School is on interdisciplinary research on self-organization in mobile communication systems with respect to services, protocols, networks, and radio aspects. The Graduate School aims at the development of future flexible mobile communication networks, for instance, for the recovery and maintenance of communications and application-oriented services in disaster scenarios.
